Pros Novel Read-a-long the Second?
Sep. 1st, 2019 12:16 pmWay back in March we had our first Pros Novel Read-a-long - does anyone fancy another one, now that September is all new and minty-fresh?
We read Painted Angels by Angelfish last time - thirteen chapters in thirteen weeks, and I think it was fun - although actually we shortened our stride for the last ten paces (ep title please! *g*) because alot of people felt impatient and kept wanting to read on (always a compliment to a writer!) - so maybe novels aren't the way to go for a read-a-long after all? An alternative might be an author read-a-long - we could pick and author and read half a dozen of their stories, perhaps? Or go back to the ways of the old Reading Room, and choose random stories each week, or stories on a theme (e.g. older lads, case-based etc.)?
So - being as it's Sunday, shall we have a poll? Tick-y boxes are always fun... *vbg*
