Betty's had fresh flowers recently. Most of A Squad had teased her, fishing for the name of her admirer. Bodie knows, and the jammy sod's not talking.

"Insurance, you know," Bodie said after I'd cornered him at the Nun's Garter over a pint and ploughman's. "You want your pickle?"

"Insurance? No, you can have it."

"Cowley's quack says he need to de-stress. Our Betty's about the only one who can do that," Bodie grinned, crunching.

I get it then. "Not ready to leave the field are we?"

"Not yet," he smirked, draining his pint.
