The response to our first shared fic has been just amazing; Devil's advocates and confirmed romantics, critics and linguists, and even a poll on fave pairings (over at the_safehouse ). Thanks to everyone for reading and joining in.

What we don't have yet is a rec for next weekend. 

Being undemocratic as ever, the first rec received  as a comment to THIS POST will be it.  In my post last week, I asked for recs before 8 pm GMT Tuesday (today) as the deadline, but please don't feel bound by that. 

The only condition is that the fic must be available online. Slash is strongly preferred, but I'm sure that goes without saying.

In setting this up, I thought it would be good if the person who names the fic would write a short rec, to start off the discussion, but don't feel obliged. If you do, it should be posted to CI5hq rather than your lj, in order to keep all the comments together.

Yes, I meant Thursday evening 26 Feb. GMT. In fact, why wait, post as soon as you're ready, as you say, it's going to take a while to read.

Sorry if I confused you, it seemed straightforward to me because I was writing on Thursday morning (this morning).

The reason for Thursday was that the weekend is probably when people have more time to read and write, but starting Thursday pm gives people more chance to download or print out (at work even).

You do the main post then, I'll leave you to it (apart from commenting, of course) then I'll do a post on Tuesday next week to invite a new rec for next week.

Have spent the last couple of hours illicitly finishing the fic, now tingling all over and finding it difficult to concentrate on work.
