Professionals Pairings Poll

Hi everyone

Because of some recent discussions in the new Reading Room and my own innate curiosity about the topic, I have been pondering some pairing questions and I thought I would see what you all think.

Therefore I thought I would let you all know I have set up a poll over at the_safehouse with questions about your favourite pairing, second favourite, and what you like to read. And of course if you would like to expand on your choices, explain more, tell me who I have missed out, just generally tell me what you think please comment.

No question with "allowing" that sort of thing - in fact that was one of the "things" that the_safehouse didn't allow that ci5hq was specifically set up to address... *g* the_safehouse mod has changed things over there now, but ci5hq was also set up for story reviews and discussion, and general discussions that were also "banned" from Safehouse back then, and it seems a shame to let it all vanish, especially because it seems to have been working really well.

It's a shame to move the discussion away, but I suspect you're after responses from more recent readers who may not have joined both comms..?

Actually I wanted to try and get responses from as many people as possible, with as many different backgrounds (new , old, single fandom, multi fandom, etc etc) as possible in order to keep it interesting and get different viewpoints.

So I simply went down the number route as luckily I was not around to witness problems at the safehouse and in the time I have been a member of both there has been character discussions in both places.

So I simply checked the member lists on the user info page for both communities which showed me the total number of members. I then compared the member names and found that the majority of members in ci5hq were on the safehouse. There were names on both lists that did not appear on the other and the safehouse had more of those. So it seemed logical to host it there and post a link here.
