Does anybody know what happened to this excellent site? Is it really down for good or has it moved elsewhere? The error message suggests something about missed payments - if it's about lacking funds to hold up the site I would be happy to contribute...?

P.S. Does anyone know the owner? Perhaps if she was contacted, she would be prepared to let someone else take over and the site could be restored?

It's a long, long time since the site was up and running, I'm afraid.

Looks like it's gone for good - pity, because it was excellent.

Well, the last saved pages on the wayback machine are from 2007, which is not so long ago. Unfortunately one cannot access the saved files, as they only lead to more error messages.

I noticed it had gone in August last year, then someone said that the owner had gone quiet about a year before that. It's a great pity, but often the case with individual websites - no legacy plan (I'm kinda used to that from Buffy and Bab5, but it still gives one a bitter feeling, especially when the owner hasn't said they're leaving). However I think she may have some things on YouTube now.

I tried the wayback machine, but sadly it won't let me access any of the stored pages, it only leads to more error messages. It really is a shame that all this phantastic material is gone. Why didn't she contact anyone and ask them to take over, if she wasn't interested in maintaining the site any longer? After all it's her labour of love that's gone and lost forever now... I remember she had excellent material on MS' appearance in The Scarlett Pimpernell among other things.
