What are your favorite Pros stories that are only available on paper, either in zines or as undigitized circuit stories? What do you like about them?

I'm considering ordering some Pros fic in hard copy from Make It Go Away, but there is a lot to choose from. I thought some recs might help.

(If anyone wants to rec from what MIGA has available, you can see the adult zines here, the non-adult zines here, and the circuit stories here. If you want to know about my preferences, see this post. Any of that is only for people who'd enjoy it, though.)

This is a huge list. I was talking to one of the gals recently and I wondered which stories were on the proslib and which stories are still available on paper only. It's a big job and I might look at it one of these days but I have a few other projects first. Also I wondered which stories are on which proslib cd/dvd and which have been removed, including the year. Again, a big project cross-referencing these.

I've read a bunch but since I don't own any circuit papers but do own multiple copies of proslib, I have to say, I do recognise many of these, meaning I've read them online or on the cd. Otherwise, the rest means I have no clue what they are about. This would include my zine reading because I've never kept track of what's on the cd, what's online and what's in zines. Now my head is spinning! :)

And, of course, this list might not even be all the fic that was on the circuit. I don't know of a master list but I came into Pros long after the circuit was being used. I am no help at all.

I'm effectively working on a paper-only vs online list of stories at the moment, as I go through the UK Paper Circuit files.

There's also the list that [livejournal.com profile] kiwisue put together and posted here at Dialj (https://discoveredinalj.livejournal.com/355542.html).

Thanks. Do you consider the proslib CD in your venture? I wonder how many of these circuit stories aren't anywhere but on paper. It's a big project!

Yes, I'm cross-checking each one with ProsLib, Circuit Archive, and Hatstand, author websites if I know them, and AO3 if all else fails (I will add AO3 eventually, but it's so hard to find individual fics on there that I'd be even slower at it than I am now!)

That's a lot of work!

I've not looked at their list of individual stories for ages - it's grown!

I'm not really supposed to be here on lj right now... it's exam month, but a brief scroll suggests many familiar ProsLib and online stories. One I'd recommend is A Beach to Walk On by ET (currently zine only, though that may change) it's slash but it's more than just the romance.

Yes, I think most of these are on the CD if no where else. Go and behave (if you must). :)
