Reading Room?
May. 31st, 2023 10:29 pmA few of you might have read in my journal that I am embarking on a new reading game that will have me reading a small selection of fics from each year, beginning with 1986. These will not all be Pros fics, but many will be, and in researching the Pros fics on Fanlore, I've run into a lot of quotes from past Reading Room discussions. That started me thinking that maybe it would be nice if I tried to organize Reading Rooms for some of the fics I will be including in my game, so everyone could discuss them together.
Would people be interested in that? What tips to you have? For instance, what is the ideal length for a Reading Room fic, in your opinion? How far ahead of discussion should the subject be announced? What day should discussion posts go up? Let me know what you think.

This week I have a zillion relatives in town, though, so I’m not sure when I’ll be ready to organize a reading room.
