So... there's this thing - and it's here and it's the Sixth Annual picfor1000 Challenge, and I think there should be more Pros there, so I thought I might just mention it here in case anyone else fancies joining in...

It's fun! It's only 1000 words! Okay, it's exactly 1000 words... but you get a prompt, and you get a photograph, and there's a very cool theme each year that gives you these things!

And there should definitely be more Pros... more people writing 1000 perfect words of Pros... Go on... you know you want to... *g*

There've been five years of challenges so far, and yet there are only five Pros stories up there - there should be more Pros... shouldn't there? Don't you think? *smiles winsomely in everyone's direction*

Just to prove it's doable, if you follow this link you'll find the five stories that have been posted. See how easy it is? All you have to do is look at the picture you're given, feel the inspiration sweep! you along, write 1000 measly words of B/D, and post it to the comm - and hopefully your own lj, or to somewhere Pros-y where we can all see it if we forget to visit picfor1000! And you've got until February 28th to do it!

There's two of us down so far... (as long as przed is writing Pros again, that is... no pressure, P...*g*) Sign-ups are open until 30th December - although personally I think you should go sign up now...

So... anyone up for it? Go on!

Bloody right, I'm writing Pros. This is the challenge that got me writing the lads again, after a hiatus of a number of years.

And good for you, pimping the challenge. (I meant to, but that would take, you know, time. Time I've got precious little of at the moment.)

Damn your winsome smile! I was just starting to sit back, do f-all and read other peoples' goodies, but then you went and pimped this ... thing ... *g* and you pimped it so well ...it was your line I think there should be more Pros that may have done it!

But you know, they won't even offer you a prompt until the end of December - you've got weeks of happy Pros-reading-type-goodies between now and then!
