So, there are some days when I'm in the mood for a well written sad fic. And then I read  this sad and bittersweet and in my eyes well written story again even that it always makes me cry.

The story I mean is The Story of My Life by PJ.  Little spoiler under the cut

There is not so much to say except 'yes, it is a death fic and yes there is no real Bodie in it. But it is my Doyle I see here'

The title refers to Michael Crawford's song 'The story of my life' which you can hear here The Story of My Life song at Youtube. The beginning of the song is the beginning of the story.

The story of my life,
is very plain to read.
It starts the day you came;
and ends the day you leave.

For me the whole song and the story fit for our lads.

When I'm in that mood, I watch 'Hachi: A Dog's Tale'... :-(

Oh I agree, this is a good one (a bit soppy in spots for me, but it works around that, somehow)! And Bodie is in it, he's just... actually everything I start to type (he's not physically in it, or he's not in the action of it) I change my mind, because he is really... Alot of it's all about Bodie! *g*

Apparently there's a Swedish saying - "Sometimes it's good to be sad." *g*

I'm quite sure I've already read that story. Nevertheless, it's on my list for this special kind of mood.
Thanks for mentioning the song.
