This is the story of what happens when Doyle overhears a conversation between some of the other agents about Bodie - and Murphy. It stirs up all kinds of emotions and of course there are consequences for everyone...

It's a relationship-based story, but there's some CI5 action as well, and anyone who's a fan of Murphy might also appreciate this one, as he features here more than usual.

I tend to have mixed feelings about Meg Lewtan's stories - I generally like them, but I do tend to skim parts which seem a bit overwrought, or melodramatic, or overly "thinky" in the lads' heads. I can generally hear the lads' voices in her stories though, and they seem pretty much the lads I see in the eps, so mostly they work for me. *g*

Anyone else read this one? Or Lewtan's other stories?

I haven't read any in a while but I enjoyed a lot of the shorter stuff. Not keen on the long "historical romance" knockoffs but they aren't my thing anyway.
