This is another fic by Derry, because as shooting2kill said about my Desperate Times review, she's a good writer and somehow never gets mentioned nearly as often as other good writers (and ones who aren't so good!) It's only a little fic again (because it's late now and my eyes are sleepy...) but hopefully it will also take you to the list of her stories at Circuit Archive, and you can carry on reading... *g*

Oh, and hah! I went to my Great Pros Watch post for Takeaway to find these pics, and look what I wrote under them:

"And oh, what's that fic that's the "translation" of the lads' conversation here?! I know it, I love it - but what's it called and who wrote it?! *vbg*"

(And second coincidence - my final reply on that post was telling someone I was just about to re-read Masquerade, which has also just been recced for Prosfic Bingo! *g*) Now I think I'd better take my exclamation marks and go to bed....

Oh well done for this! Derry had her own site and for years I'd kept the address safely bookmarked but can I find it today? No.

(Just realised I'd recc'd Trying to Understand at a recent Visions post and so her stories are also up at the archive of our own under the name derryderrydown.)

I had her website bookmarked too, but it's too many computers later now... But Palelyloitering and the Wayback machine came through! At least we can compare them with what's on her A03 account, and ask her to add any that are missing there. *g*
