I just finished the zine Tenderloin by Vicky L. Martin. (don't know for sure but don't think it's online.)

I must admit I had some problems with this story. Not with the style in which is is written, but with some inconsistencies, like the time someone will think he's starving. And it is a very hard stuff and I don't think I'll read it again too soon.

What do you think? Do you know the zine and if you know it, do you like it? Or do you dislike it?

I haven't read this one - don't think I ever came across it being sold, although I kept my eyes open for it. It's not in the UK Paper Circuit library list, or in the current ProsLib list either. Sounds interesting, though maybe frustrating, so I'll keep my eyes open still!

I had never heard of this zine until I went to look it up. I do see it's a gen zine. It's mentioned on fanlore but no reviews.

I don't generally "change in my mind" a rating given by a writer. It it's supposed to be gen, then it's gen to me, and I don't usually read it. I hae a hard time seeing slash if it's not really there. Old brain, I suppose! I have a huge box of slash zines at my house that I still haven't ever read. Recently I cracked open a Jane novel. I'll see how it goes. Thanks for the info and offer! I think a few other folks are interested in it. It's really nice of you to offer it.

I have not read The Hunting series but I did read all 700 pages of Magikal! Go for it!
