Pros Fic

I've been reading Pros fic a lot, recently. It's a good thing to get sidetracked from ......, you know.

Our German group discussed one of my fav stories last Sunday, so I want to make Emotionally Involved by Rabbit tempting for you.

The story is set straight after Man Without a Past. Remember, do you ?

  

                                            You dumb crud. What took you so long?                  You look terrible.

After visiting Clair, Bodie returns to Doyle's room.......

"Oi, what you doin' here?" I gave a startled jump as I saw him
lurkin' in the doorway, then cursed as my broken ribs protested
the sudden movement.
     "Ssh." He held a finger up to his lips as he edged into the
room.
     "What you up to?" I repeated, frowning as he closed the door
behind him stealthily. "You're not supposed to be here you know.
Visitin' hours are over."
     "Know that," Bodie said unconcernedly, tip-toeing over to the
bed.
     "They're gonna chuck you out."
     "They can try," he clarified as he sat down on the edge of the
bed, after lifting my arm up out of harm's way.

The story isn't that long, but well written. I was giggling a lot, although Bodie is emotionally involved in a really touching way.

Yeay, a fic rec! Thank you!

I've just finished work, and my reward was to go and read this story. *g* The ending was a bit soppy for me, but the banter between them was fun, and I love the idea of Bodie sneaking into Doyle's hospital room.

Loved seeing your accompanying pics too - Man Without a Past is an ep that I really really like... Ooh, if it wasn't almost midnight I might even have put it on now... *vbg*

Nice manip at the end, too!
