Thank you so much to everyone who jumped in last week to suggest stories and then also volunteered to host the story recs! We've now got stories scheduled until the weekend of the 20th December, and I have to admit that I'm looking forward to the bliss of just joining in for a while (well, except for the reminder posts *g*) and using the extra time to try and actually write something for the other Pros-y challenges going on around now. Thank you thank you!
And that said... if anyone would like to suggest stories for the weekends from the 27th December onwards, then it would be nice to get organised into the New Year... *g*

Date: 2019-12-07 02:52 pm (UTC)There's some lovely sentences in there that made me chuckle too, 'Pop? The little sod knew you didn't 'pop' anywhere at this time of year.' and 'the misery endured by the entire queue suddenly went up a notch as the child's screaming hit ghetto-blaster level'. We've all been there at some point or another.
And I think this is soooo Bodie. 'Only it doesn't pay, apparently, so she has to come here and not do Betty's job properly.'
And yet, despite the trauma of the Post Office scrum, this is a very heart-warming story and full of Christmassy vibes.
Lovely!
