The HatstandThis is a long story, so I'm posting a reminder early this week!
I've only had one suggestion so far for any reading room after this, and it was more in the nature of "I wish..."
snailbones said she'd love to read
Larton as a group, and personally I think that would be brilliant. We could divide it up so that it's a Read-a-long rather than all at once - which could also mean that we'd get to the winter/Christmas-y bit just before Christmas.
But - we could also focus on shorter individual winter/Christmas stories or ignore winter/Christmas altogether. So I shall do a poll...

Date: 2019-11-12 02:02 pm (UTC)I've added Wishbone for the 22nd November. Do you fancy hosting? I'm happy to if you don't, but I will always ask! *g*
I'm sure you wouldn't be the only one who didn't get all the background of Larton - I wouldn't be at all surprised to find there were nuances that I'd never realised! It's a vey specific world it's set in. But I do adore it. *g* The "winter" book would have been gorgeous for the winter lead-up - it always feels so festive to me! But Snailbones and I seem to be lone voices...!

Date: 2019-11-12 04:36 pm (UTC)The poll doesn't show up on my phone, but I would be very happy with Larton! I would also be happy with other stories if that is more popular. Just want to keep reading and discussing together.

I'm always in the mood for it at this time (- but never for Larton... ;-)).
