Almost missed the annoucement - I'm not into the rhythm of it yet, sorry...

There were half a dozen of us chatting happily about Ellis Ward's The Return last week, and thank you everyone who joined in! It would be fab if you had a chance to join us this week, when we will be hosted by [livejournal.com profile] firlefanzine. She'll post on Friday and discussion will be ongoing over the weekend - well, and after, really, I love that lj lets us go back and jump into things that we might have missed when they were first posted. Come to that - you can comment to this week's author, [livejournal.com profile] myrebelcat via the [livejournal.com profile] discoveredinalj link above too, if you'd like to give direct feedback as well, I'm sure she'd love to hear it!

Sorry that I wasn't able to join last weeks story, but RL got into my plans and I didn't have the time to re-read the story. And thank you for organising everything.

Tomorrow's the day my father'll get his pacemaker and I think the day after will be mentaly more relaxed for me. :-)

I never had time to read the story last week (polishing my Pros Big Bang which is now finished!) but I've always loved Rebelcat's writing and this one made me all kinds of happy. So funny--loved Bodie's incoherent thoughts and reactions. Poor guy--particularly: The phone box almost smacked him in the nose. One moment it had been all the way down at the other end of the street, and the next it had dashed forward and planted itself right under his feet.

And then the implication that sex might help his condition, and the different ways they both dealt with this revelation. I laughed all through this wonderful story.

"I laughed all through this wonderful story."

*happy sigh*

I love your comment! :-)
But would you please, please re-post it tomorrow, when I have started the story discussion, so that others could enjoy it as well?
