Challenge - Pros Connection anyone?

I saw this picture in the Bird Photographer of the Year shortlist, and it made me smile alot and think of Pros. I bet there are people out there who know why... *g* Hover over it to identify the birds.
I'll add the answer to the post tomorrow, in case people fancy guessing... *g*

ETA - come to think of it, I'll screen answers too, so that anyone who wants to can guess without spoilers! *g*

I'm really curious to find out what the Pros connection is! I have no clue! :)

I did come across something else that reminded me of Pros today, though. Was reading about someone wanting to sue British Airways for a seat that didn't recline, and someone else in the forum telling them it would be "A Hiding to Nothing" to go ahead with it. *g*
I guess it's a British phrase, but I've never heard it used elsewhere before.

It's Island Innocents by Glen Fiddich, where Doyle encounters a birdwatcher, and Bodie is able to help. I've posted the answer and an excerpt - I love that zine! *g*

Hee hiding to nothing! I've never noticed whether Americans use the phrase or not, but it could well have stayed stuck this side of the Atlantic! (And hah - yes, I agree with someone else, they really would be on a hiding to nothing if they tried that particular court case! *g*)

Hmm - 2 possibilities spring to mind.

The most straightforward is Benny's comment about "birds with very few feathers" in PMPD.

But I rather favour Sand(erlings)...Spain...Torremolinos is in Spain...Doyle reading "Sands of Torremolinos" by Juan Goytisolo in TOS.
