Pros Novelisations Weekly Read anyone?

It occurs to me that we've never read the Pros novelisations together and I was thinking that maybe we could announce the novelisation/episode tie-in/pages one day in the week, have a read, and maybe someone (me, if no one else wants to) could post about the story on Friday or Saturday or Sunday and we could chat about it and compare findings...? I know not everyone will have the books, but that needn't stop anyone joining in, since they're based on the tv eps (or maybe we could find a way to deal with that).

Some of the stories have fab extra bits added in, but I've never systematically gone through them to find out what, and so it might be fun to see what might have been in our eps, too... I seem to remember that one has Bodie fantasising about tying Doyle down and covering him in honey... *g*

Anyone fancy it? We could maybe even start this weekend with the Where the Jungle Ends, in which the first ep covered is (basically) Old Dog With New Tricks, on pages 5-57?

Only trick is finding which box I packed them into (and they may be spread out across boxes)... but they are in here somewhere!

I don't have any of the books. I had three sometimes but I gave them away when I moved house. It was way before I found you all. But I like to follow.

I don't have all the books but only just a few, and they're in my London flat whereas I'm in Italy this month. But I'll follow the discussions all the same.
By the way, I'd read somewhere that the books were written mostly based on the original scripts, not the filmed episodes, where some changes were made, so some fans look at them with interest in order to find out how certain episodes 'evolved' from how they'd been conceived at the writing stage compared to the final filmed version.

I have the novels but I'm not sure that I'll be able to keep up with all of it. Really like the idea of a discussion and seeing what other people think, and I"ll jump in when I can. Thanks for suggesting it.
