Great pictures. I watched the live NASA broadcast and it was quite exciting for not being in the path of totality.

Oh my! Great pictures! Did you take them with special settings on your camera?

That's very interesting! Did you use a tripod as well?

The results are really beautiful!
Thank you!

Beautiful pictures. Glad the weather cooperated and you got to see it live. I got to see it on tv and while I know it's nowhere near the same, it was still kinda neat to be part of something so big.

How awesome is that? I hope you submitted your pictures somewhere as well - they're great! Look at those little solar flares...

Wish I'd had the foresight to try to take decent pictures (although we had clouds just at peak eclipse).

We were more around 70-75%, but it was still great. I didn't have glasses, so I did the pinhole camera thing; and then one of the admins had glasses so she stood in the lobby (there's a skylight) and people congregated around her to take looks. It was all awesome.

LOL, Large Corporation just paid several hundred people to stand around and look at an eclipse.

Wow! How grand that you had it so relatively close to home! Up here we had a partial eclipse, and clouds at the peak of that, but we were able to still see it when it was about half, and that was cool in and of itself. *g* (Plus, we'd decided to have a potluck lunch for staff and students, so it was just a good, social time.)

Thanks for sharing these! How very cool to have experienced a total eclipse! I'd love to have felt that, much less watch. (Heh. and I saw your comment about the science teacher with a whistle. That's brilliant.)

Excellent pics! It was amazing, by all accounts. I'd love to have been there.
