Ah - I did watch, despite it being a harsh choice between The Durrells, which I love, and the first of the last George Gentlys, which I don't love quite as much, but it's MS, so... and he's 72! Seventy-two!

Thank you so much for the interview! I think MS has mellowed somewhat with age, well, at least as far as his assessment of his Doyle character :)
It's amazing, to me at least, that he'd have such an isolated cottage in a such a remote part of Scotland if he already lives in a very rural and somewhat isolated county like Norfolk :) But he's always seemed to like very private settings, close to nature etc.

Thank you for this, I never would have seen it otherwise. It's interesting to see what he's up to, especially since I'm the complete opposite as a city girl.
