Today I'd love to rec a triple drabble by one of my favourite Prosfic writers, melanieathene, who is very talented particularly at short fiction, and does a great job at scene setting and evoking emotions through sparkly dialogue.

She did a great job with the prompt and set up a wonderfully wintery and intimate scene, with an enjoyable transition from banter and pranks to something more 'substantial'.
It perfectly encapsulates IMO why I love Pros so much. No matter the level of competition, banter and practical jokes between the lads, they never descend into malice or cruelty.

That's a fun story - I think because what they do is so deadly, and they need to be so properly serious about it, that it's so much fun to see them just playing together. You know, in all the different ways. *g* Thank you!

Yes, totally agree. The lads' day job being what it is, they need to really let go and be playful in their 'downtime'. Bodie is a natural at it; Doyle maybe needs some 'prompt' from his partner, but not always, as the case may be :)
