2016 Prosfic Rec Advent Calender - Day 2 - Santa's Basement by James Walkswithwind

So, my Advent Calender story is Santa's Basement by James Walkswithwind. It is a very nice story about Bo Bo and De De, two bears in Santa's Basement who live there for seven month and who are in love with each other. They live there with Father Bear and many other Christmas items.

When you start reading you just know that Bo Bo is Bodie and De De is Doyle. And, of course, Father Bear is Cowley.

At Christmas Eve they must separate and be given as Christmaspresents to some kids. And from this moment they are just some teddybears. And they have to change their names, because they become Filthybear and Ragamuffin.

But after many years they will be together again and we will know who the lucky kids where were they stayed for a long time.

I think it is really a classical Christmas Story about neverending love, even if Bodie and Doyle have only a small part in it.

Please meet Ragamuffin (on the left) and Filthybear (on the right).




Meet my sisters and my teddybear. My sisters is the brown one, the white one is mine. They are sitting in my bedroom and watching over me when I sleep. Like Filthybear and Ragamuffin will watch over Bodie and Doyle.

Very cute rec! I read it last night before bed, all cosy in flannel sheets and lights twinkling, and it was perfect! *g* HG's teddy bear stories are a guilty pleasure, and this one fits right there too! Thank you!

PS - and I meant to say, love the bears, who also look well-loved and very much as I imagine Ray and Will's bears might look... *g*

The bears were a present from our grandfather and I love them both, even if the brown one is my sisters. And I thought they fitted Filthybear and Ragamuffin quiet perfect.
