2016 Prosfic Advent Calendar - Day One - Brightly Shone the Moon by Izzie

It's the 1st of December at last, and I'm going to start the Prosfic Rec Calendar with a story that is ten years old this year, written by izzie7 for Discovered in the Mistletoe, the very first discoveredinalj Christmas/Winter/Solstice/etc. challenge!

It seems very fitting for today too, because as the title might suggest, there's a touch of the frost to it. It's literally freezing cold here today too, and I quite happily shivered away (cosy inside *g*) while Doyle was out on assignment, and while Bodie... well. You'll have to read it for yourself. It's a case fic, and there's a sequel too, Winter Fuel, which is another case story, and also goes just that bit further towards warming us up. *g*

I never managed to catch up with the Prosfic Advent Calendar, but I often came back later - when I needed some... heartwarming. ;-)
