Black Out

First of all - I've been holding off replies etc. to my post about the poll and various Pros-y posts to give people longer to answer, since it's various types of holidays at the moment, so please do go over and let me know what you think. We can't have Pros without people joining in to help have Pros... *g*

And second of all - I was in the mood for a random Pros ep tonight, and because my new Mark IV dvd was close to hand, it ended up being Black Out, which isn't an ep I'd usually choose. Not sure why, cos the lads are nicely together at the start, and I quite like Stewart when he comes in, but... I dunno. They seem... tired or something. Although that is a hundred fics, of course! Anyway - Doyle's t-shirt caught my eye this time, and I thought gosh - green! But then I looked at the old dvds to compare, and actually it was fairly green there too... *g*

New and old...


And then I realised Bodie was wearing green just the day before too!

Oddly enough, his green looks brighter in the older dvds...

Got to admit, I still don't like Doyle's big white jacket though - it just looks too big for him, somehow! I like to think it started off as Bodie's... *g*

I do like Bodie teasing Doyle over the ice cream, though... and that there's something going on in this second picture, where Bodie grabs Doyle's arm and wants them to stay for a drink. *g*

It is a little disconcerting when the lads go off in different directions after the first part of this ep, isn't it?

It's nice the way Doyle's t shirt becomes emerald green against the neutral tones of the new dvd.

I was a bit slow off the mark, ordering my Mark IV dvds, but I'm watching the post. They should be any day, now.

I always enjoy seeing them interrupt their search with a strawberry ice-cream break.

The images look so fresh and clear in the cleaned-up version! Lovely. (I agree with you about the white jacket, though *g*)

Oh I love Doyle's green shirt (same we wore in Blood Sports, methinks), but I agree that white long jacket doesn't suit him. Was it supposed to represent a more 1980's look (reminded me of Don Johnson in Miami Vice, kind of... though London is not Miami, where you can, just maybe, pull off a white garment!), compared to Doyle's shorter jackets (leather or otherwise) he'd been wearing in previous series?
I've ordered the Mk IV DVDs last week and hope they'll be delivered soon :) I'm so looking forward to seeing some of my favourite episodes shot later in the series in their full colour glory...
Thank you for sharing about Black Out. It's not among my favourites, but it does have some lovely moments and Bodie getting a Superman watch *bless*
