I'm feeling blue. The last time I was feeling blue I inflected a melancholy video of my own making on the unsuspecting folks of fandom - this time - in memory of Minori and all her enthusiasm for Pros - I offer a little bit of Sunshine.

I can't link to YouTube because a company called UMG_MK is nuking the Beatles back catalogue - but some of us have squirreled away our Sunshine for rainy days - and this is a very rainy day so from Angelfish45 a little bit of Sunshine for Minori_k

Sorry to take so long in replying, but it really was such awful news I needed a little time to regroup. I wanted to do something though, because she loved the lads so much.

I still can't get my head round the idea that she's not just away for her health and won't come bouncing back.

What a lovely happy vid; I hope it lifted your spirits. It made me smile all the way through. I don't think I've seen anything by this vidder before - I've just skimmed through her channel and I can see I have a few hours' watching ahead of me.

Yes, I like Angelfish45's vids. It's vids like this which inspired me to have a go myself. It does always cheer me this vid, and the song before that, which I first heard on the radio when I was quite small.

Like everyone else, I'll miss Minori's presence in fandom. I so loved her work.

I hope it would have made Minori smile too. I never got the chance to meet her and I shall always regret that, I would have loved to tell her in person how much I liked her work.

What a lovely tribute to Minori. I'd never seen this video. It put a big smile on my face and lifted my melancholy mood. I'd never realised Doyle smiled/laughed so often *g*... and I love the fact that quite a few of the snippets are about him laughing at his own jokes, an endearing trait :)

I'm glad you think it's an endearing trait, since I'm quite often guilty myself! I know Doyle is often portrayed as an angst ridden waif, but he's just as likely to be the one to laugh first :0)

I was pretty melancholy myself, but then I remembered this and Minori's enthusiasm and it just seemed such a perfect fit. So much more appropriate than moping.

Though mope we will, everybody will miss her. I can't imagine how hard that letter must have been to write for her husband.

I'm glad I saved it, I remember moonlightmead once saying she'd had her fingers burnt and now always downloaded something if she really liked it.

You can't download everything - but I have downloaded a fair bit and I'm glad I did because UMG_MK is taking down everything the Beatles, individually, or as a group, have done. I fear for Thomas the Tank Engine!

I loved Minori's work and would so liked to have met her. I uploaded the vid to my Lj to post and I'm not taking it down again unless forced to, because it may be the only way it's still available.

I hope Minori would have liked it :0)

Yeah, it did. I was so hoping Minori had beaten her illness, I didn't like to think there could be any explanation for her silence, other than she was recouping and recovering.
