Well, not so much night where I am, but I'm uncertain of my plans for this evening...
So, A Fire is Burning, which can be found as a downloadable zipped file on the Circuit Archive, which is where I found it.
And where I discovered fanvids. I love fanvids. I've even fulfilled a cherished ambition and made one of my own, having moved from awe, to curiosity, to I wonder if...
I love this vid because, like many vids, it introduced me to a new band, but also because, for me, it encapsulates everything that caught my imagination about Pros in those dim distant days when Dagenham was still churning out capri's and we were still debating the possibility of actually having a woman as Prime Minister.
Just for this post,

This was definitely an instant fall for me :0)

Date: 2016-03-20 02:33 pm (UTC)Yes, there is. You get the idea of Cowley's small band preserving the lavender and roses against all the odds. I'm glad I reminded you of such a gem :0)

Date: 2016-03-21 02:46 pm (UTC)After The Professionals source was released on DVD, the vid was remastered by Sandy, Alex, and Gwyneth and shown at Vividcon 2005, then remastered again using the color-corrected DVDs released a few years later by Justacat (with a little assistance from Gwyneth Rhys).

It's always good to know the history of things - and it really is a terrific vid!
