I had a shortlist of vids to rec, and so far only one of them has been recced by someone else so either I have rather unusual taste in vids or I've been very lucky indeed.

I love this for the song and the way the vidder has fitted the action into it, and especially for the slow-motion technique used in parts.

Ooo - I didn't know what to make of this one at first (that happens sometimes), but I have a feeling that this is one of those that will grow on me. So I've downloaded it to play again - and again.

The song isn't one I'm instantly drawn to, I know it and have never actually disliked it, just never felt moved by it.

But I like all the battered lads - and anything with Bodie running gets my vote :0) - so good rec - made me think - made me try something new - all the rec good stuff :0)

Oh yes - and I did belatedly ask for a date - but I think my post might have got lost in the crowd. So if there are any more going free...

Oh nice - I don't know this one, but I liked it. As you say, nice timing and nice matching of the lyrics to what we know of our lads. I'm finding that I really do prefer vids I can see as slash to gen/het vids, but this is just about on the edge for me. If I reeeeally stretch I could imagine the lads find comfort in each other at the end of all this... *g* Thank you!

ETA - *puts mod hat on* - you certainly can have another Friday night! I'm just waiting for someone to let me know if they want the 11th, but if not it's all yours. If they do, would the 18th work?

I didn't think of this as being either slash or het (if I close my eyes through the scenes from Hiding To Nothing and Fall Girl) but more about the job they do; in a sense it's more episode-based than telling a new story. In any event I'm glad it worked for you. (and I can see them tumbling into bed together after Cowley's chewed them out at the end, too....)

Actually, quick mod request - you couldn't pop the lyrics under a cut, could you? They're quite long to scroll through in a flist!

And while I'm here - *g* - It is a bit more of an ep vid, and just about what they do etc., that's true - I guess I still miss the slash a bit cos I absolutely see slash in the eps, without even trying, so when stuff's episode-based to me that still comes with slash! I like your idea of the ending, though... *vbg*

I'm glad you liked the vid and lyrics. I think the vidder did a good job of fitting the action to the music but I'm sorry it's not quite your cup of tea.

Don't be sorry. That's usually the case with me: I like the vid but not the music. This one is not unpleasant to hear, just nothing more than a background sound. Something I could say of most of the popular songs currently. Where are the melodies gone?

I'm more generally a fan of 'relationship' vids, but this is a nicely put-together vid of the action-duo variety, and while I'm not a fan per se, I don't object to a little Killers music in my life. Thanks for the reminder.
