I used to do a bit of sketching - a long time ago - but if I remember correctly, it seemed easier to do it with an actual pencil!! After many false starts - here are today's photoshop experiments. Not entirely happy with them, but it is a start.

I thought for a moment that picture of Doyle was a pencil drawing - how amazing that you can make a photo look like that! Very nice! Mind you, if you ever fancied picking up an actual pencil again, I always love to see actual drawings of our lads too... just saying. *g*

I think the only thing about Bodie is the thickness/darkness of some of those lines... Doyle's lines are alot lighter (well, you know what I mean... *g*) in most places, I think, although perhaps even with him the line on the right side of his face is quite thick/dark, where I don't think there'd be shadow? Says the girl who can't draw at all, so shutting up now... *g*

Sorry to hear about the arthritis - that's a horrid thing, especially when you've been an artist as well... I hope it's not too painful at least, because I know it can be for people... Hurrah for Photoshop (or in my case, the free version, GIMP, which I really like, and am not nearly competent enough with to recognise shortcomings *g*)!

Extremey impressed! And I don't draw, so do't see all the issues with the pictures - they just look mighty fine to me, LOL.

And what an excellent start! God these are good! I'm so impressed with the fact that you're a writer *and* an artist! Well done and thank you.

Very nice indeed! How lovely that you're still able to 'sketch' with Photoshop, despite your arthritis. :-)
