I have to admit this one is close to my teeny heart - I was lucky enough to do the artwork for the story, and anyone who's collaborated with Merentha will know what a brilliant lady she is to work with! Fun? I had it!

The story is short and angsty, and all too easy to spoil, so I'll just say the lads are trapped in a building at Christmas... they're in dire straights, it's cold and dark, but they keep up the old-married couple act.

I love the effortless way Merentha guides you through a dialogue-based narrative which switches POV - normally my heart sinks, knowing I'm going to be hunting back and forth trying to work out who said what, but this story never once lost me. And the ending is perfect - go, read, smile!

Ah, thank you for the rec! I'd forgotten about that one. What a nice way to start my day! I do love the lads in danger, focused on each other. *g* ETA: Especially at Christmas!
