Title: Boxing Day
Author: The Hag
Link to Story: A03 link to Boxing Day

Pairing: B/D

When the Christmas holiday beckons, this is the first story that I have at the top of my reading list. (and sometimes I even read it in the middle of summer. . . . . shush . . .don't tell)

Yesterday had been all right, Christmas day together.

He'd cooked a small turkey and various traditional trimmings, and Bodie had cleared up around and after him.

Now go spend a few moments with Bodie and Doyle through The Hag's eyes!!!!!

Oh, yes, one of my favorites as well. I love the slightly melancholy feel to it, which fits Christmas so well, and when it all comes right in the end. Just perfect in every way.

Thank you so much for the reminder - it's one of my absolute favourite Christmas fics. Sad, and sweet, and gentle.

Huge, huge favourite of mine too - it's on the kindle, and one to read any time of year! There is so much love in this story, and it's brilliantly written. Absolutely outstanding.

That's very lovely story. I love the way it shows that there are more feelings in Bodie then it seems at the first sight.

Such a lovely, warm story. Just the thing for a cold, winter's morning.

This is such a beautifully crafted story, and Bodie and Doyle are presented in a lovely light - not too sweet, not too sour, but real. I love the boxes within the boxes and the way they fit together. Thank you for the recc and especially thank you to The Hag for this incredible story.
