Well I haven't even read a lot of  the Big Bang stories yet - so I've still got treasure to look forward to - but it's dark and getting colder out there now, so I feel that maybe I need to cover up.
I've run out of energy and ideas lately, but I just remembered I still have a few of these I don't think I've posted yet - so, you know, who knows, if anybody wants to snag a cover you're welcome! (be a love and tell me if you do, eh?)

And I'm particularly fond of this one. Because this is a serious ornithologists' drawing of (could not be more perfect, I was so pleased to find this) red-tailed hawks performing a courtship spin. A courtship spin. That's what they really look like, apparently. I couldn't resist the play on words, of course, and I just think it fits the way Bodie and Doyle are sparring with each other throughout this fic when what they really want is to get closer, not fight. So here's

These are all lovely. I agree, the birds jousting and courting is fantastic. And the one for Ties is just perfect.

Thank you, mm! I could not resist that drawing of the birds, especially when I read what actual behaviour it depicts - and because, perfection of perfections, both birds look the same - and equally fierce *bg* (I didn't know about red-tailed hawks, not being a bird-knowing person, and of course there are so many species of birds where there is very marked dimorphism. Apparently in this species practically the only visible difference is that males are usually slightly smaller than females).
And as for the toothbrushes, I love to bits the part in that fic where it's all crystallised in the sudden realisation that the toothbrush is a different colour *vbg*

Yes! I'm so glad you posted today (Nov 4) about another cover and linked to this post because I had wanted to comment on this, but couldn't, and then forgot and now... LOOK AT WHAT YOU DID WITH MY STORIES! \o/\o/\o/. I love your covers! And, argh, because I'm reading this again at work and that was my problem before, because I want to download these, but I need to remember that when I'm actually on my own computer!

But anyway, you do gorgeous covers and I am so going to go through all of these and download them soon. But, especially, thank you for covers for my stories. *g*

Hey, thank you! I'm so very happy you like them! I really love that moment in Christmas Snow where everything is suddenly focused in that tiny moment of suddenly seeing that the toothbrush is a different colour - it's brilliant, tiny, domestic, huge with meaning, all at the same time *g* I mean, the cover itself really doesn't do justice to it at all imo but I couldn't resist the two toothbrushes in love *bg*

I don't have a proper plan, exactly, it's just that every now and then I see an image that links in my mind with a telling moment or (to me) focal image from a story, and then I like to try and put them together.
