A friend alerted me to this, posted on a POI-related Tumbler.

If it’s for real, Havocscope purports to give black market prices for lots of nefarious activities -  I quote: “for educational purposes only and… listed to give readers a better sense of how the black market operates”.

So if you ever wanted to know how much it would cost to, say, buy a cache of illegal arms, PURELY FOR THE PURPOSES OF WRITING FICTION, *she shouts to anyone listening covertly  to this*, then you could look at the prices here and do a calculation to rejig them back to the 70s.

Gosh, interesting site, if it's genuine. Seems like it might not be the safest thing to make some of that information available... and the IRA involved with counterfeit vodka? What next, the CIA involved in counterfeit condoms...? How odd... Thanks for the post, anyway! *g*
