For my second recommendation: Festival of Lights by Dorinda.

It's a short story, but filled with all the things I love about Pros and Christmas: a bit of life and death danger, a realization, a miracle. And it's all told from the point of view of Mr Cowley, who just might surprise you--and the lads.  Go on, give it a read. I do highly recommend it!

It's been awhile since I read it, but it was really nice reading it again. I love how everything is settled while they wait to see if they're going to be blown up! *g*

Thanks for reccing the story.

Oh, I love this story! It's such a perfect little gem, with Cowley taking a vital active role even though he can't move or even speak. It's lovely for the season, too - thank you for the reminder!

It's amazing, love the tension and the lads moves and voices are just perfect, in some cases it's what they don't say that is very telling, it's very well written. Thanks for the reccie!

Good story - the notation of the time added a tenseness to the story and the characters were all well written! Thanks for the recc!

It's such a joy to re-read it, Dorinda is a *very* talented writer! - She wrote some of my all time favourite "I Spy" stories, too.
