We're slowly getting closer to Christmas Day! So on the 9th of December, I present to you "There's an Old Mill..." by O Yardley which can be found here on CA -> http://www.thecircuitarchive.com/tca/archive/7/theresan.html

I really love this story, it's a pleasant Christmas fic where the lads go away to an Old Mill together. There's witty banter from the lads from the very start and snow, lots of snow. There's also a snowman... but I won't say much more as I don't want to ruin it for anyone who may not have read it yet. :)

It's a nice story, and a perfect rec for the season! Last time somebody recced it (ages ago) they put suitable pics up too, of a mill cottage. I can't remember who or where, but I remember loving the combination of story and pics. Thanks for reminding us of it!

Oh thank you! Yes! I knew I wasn't dreaming... I have friends in Germany who have a mill cottage very like this one and the story makes me think of them, too.
