Recently, stuck with new writing, I thought a change would help. And I turned my attention to tidying up older stuff, much of which I had already posted. And I am quite entertained still by some of it, but, ugh, it's clear I have no idea what I am doing. Particularly with this story, The Lie-detector, which was the first I posted. It's already on the Automated Hatstand and Proslib, so it is a little late for second thoughts, but, well. The more I re-read it, the more I remember writing it and forcing it into a structure that perhaps I should have just abandoned in the first place. And now I am wondering whether it is worth massive rewriting or not.

Sorry about the delayed posting. LJ does not like me today, but I got here in the end.
