That was a fascinating discussion over last weekend, ranging from the social hierarchy of Victorian England to the very Pros-y topic of how far the lads can be out of character in an AU, and it still be Pros fic.

 

I know everyone here will join me in thanking

 for volunteering Lizzie's 'The Victorian Kitchen Gardener'. To finish work on Thursday night, injure your leg, spend hours in A&E and still post for The Reading Room is dedication indeed.  Let your reward be knowing how much pleasure everyone seems to have had reading and talking about the fic. Thank you very much for posting your rec and hosting the discussion. And thanks to everybody who joined in, or even just read the fic and looked in to see what other people were saying about it.
