DIALj Bound I and II
Feb. 9th, 2007 11:06 amFor people with access to printers, or those who might otherwise like the idea of online zines, the fic from the first two
discoveredinalj challenges, Discovered On A Gangplank and Discovered On All Hallow's Eve is now available as pdf format zines.
You can find them here:
DIALj Bound I: Discovered On A Gangplank
DIALj Bound II: Discovered On All Hallow's Eve
You will need Adobe to download them - the link points the way to that too - but then they can be printed off and bound in any way you might like...
The stories are just as they were posted at
discoveredinalj, there's been no other editing, just a bit of formatting.
Skyrocket and Mistletoe still to come...

Date: 2007-02-09 11:43 pm (UTC)Would you believe that I STILL haven't got around to reading these stories - the only chance I get to read Prosfic these days seems to be when I hit the hay, so now I can print off these lovely zines and read all the glorious new stories while I'm toasty-warm in bed (or perhaps I should say while I've got a snoring, toasty-warm other 'alf beside me *g*)
Thank you!

Date: 2007-03-02 05:07 pm (UTC)It all rather started when I went to a con last year, where a much older (completely fabulous) Pros author asked if I wrote myself. I said I did, but it was all online, and she looked so disappointed! So what with that, and then the fact that much as I love lj I'm a big fan of holding wodges of paper in my hands, the dialj bounds just had to be done! It was inspired by Oblique (http://www.oblique-publications.net/oblique.html) too, who have put all their old zines online in pdf format, which I thought was a great idea.
I'm really glad it's gone down well - and we're both dead chuffed that you've commented to say so! Thanks!
