I always forget that this story is by Sebastian, never mind that it's part of her Adagio series (though it can totally be read on its own). It's great - there's Christmas, in a very CI5 way, and there are Doyles, in a rather brilliant way, and there's Bodie by Ray's side the whole time in a very *sighs-happily* way! It's not syrupy or soppy or overly-Christmas nor not-Christmas-at-all, it's just... just totally imaginable, somehow. This is Christmas. *g*
ETA - and I also forget that Sebastian has her own website of course, where her stories are posted, and that she explains Adagio was the first Pros story she ever wrote, way back in 1982...

Date: 2011-12-03 10:15 pm (UTC)Sebastian is one of my favorite Pro's writers. Why did she give it up?

Date: 2011-12-04 08:05 am (UTC)I've never met Sebastian, so this is hearsay rather than anything else, but I gather Sebastian stopped writing Pros when other things came into her life. Actually Adagio was the first story she wrote, as she explains at her website (http://www.zeropanic.net/fanfic/sebastian/pros/html/Sebastian%20-%20Adagio.htm).
