Also... - I was wondering whether we want to have a go at a Christmas Reading Room again, where people volunteer to rec Christmas-y stories so that we have a fic to read every day? Or was once enough? *g* (I originally suggested it because I missed the Hatstand's Advent Calendar of Pros stories to re-read, and I gather there's a chance that might return this year - but does anyone know for sure, one way or the other? Does it matter anyway, as these are recs? Maybe it does, cos we can only read so many stories a day... Hmmmn. What do you think? And would anyone want to play if we did it again anyway - reviewing previously-unreviewed Pros Christmas fic, too (fun in that we have to find the new stories, harder in that we'd have to find them... *g*)

I'll note that "led" here may mean "started". I'm not sure when I'll be online over the weekend. Deadlines are happening at me. But I shall be here, even if it is Saturday or Sunday and has fallen off everyone's friends lists by then. In the meantime, feel free to carry on without me. Must the stories be Christmas-themed?

(Yes, newbie, first Christmas in Pros here - and I gather there is quite the tradition of Christmas stories? Not entirely my thing, but I'll give it a go...)

Well, we started here (http://ci5hq.livejournal.com/150749.html), and eventually progressed to here (http://ci5hq.livejournal.com/2010/12/) - lots of Christmas-fic recs in December! So... yeah, sort of like a highly compressed crack_van series of recommendations, I guess... or like a highly-compressed Reading Room... *g*

And yes, the whole point was that the stories were Christmas-themed! *g*

Lol to Christmas not being entirely your thing in Pros - that's two people I know who feel like that, now... But Pros is one of the things that does make me feel quite Christmas-y now, so... baaaah humbug to you! *g*

Christmas-themed recs would be really nice! I'm not sure how connected I will be throughout December, starting on the 10th, but I'd definitely be an avid appreciator of the recs.
I hope my phone will be as zippy as yours, and actually work in "foreign" lands.

Well, judging by the response so far, I don't think the Christmas-themed recs are going to happen! It'd be me and thee - and that'd depend on your connectivity! I shall have to cross my fingers and hope the Hatstand Advent Calendar is back instead!
