Christmas Reading Room December 16th
Dec. 25th, 2010 04:45 pmI know it's not the 16th of December any more, but I was rubbish and missed my day to rec, so I thought we could have two Christmas day Pros recs instead...

I love this little fic - Sebastian often has a gorgeous melancholy to her stories that tugs at your heartstrings... But I do somehow always feel that things are going to be alright - no matter what the difficulties, our lads will come through. They're emotional versions of the eps perhaps - gritty and pulling no punches about the way people work, but in the end... well, in the end it's the lads who're down by the waterfront, and it's Christmas, after all... *g*

Date: 2010-12-27 11:22 pm (UTC)I'm not left with your confident optimism that things will be alright because I'm not sure how they can build a strong relationship when Doyle seems to abuse the frienship and Bodie is almost subservient.
Although it is a bleak story it is well worth the read. Thanks for the rec.
