Title: Blood Heat
Author: Sebastian
Link to story: Circuit Archive, or text only html
Pairing: Bodie/Doyle

More of Sebastian over HERE.

This story is not about Christmas, but it has that cold, lovely feeling of winter, and I love it. It always warms my heart, and do you know why? Doyle snuggled under a warm cover, Bodie freezing to death, and then a lot of warming up frozen extremities. *eyebrow wiggle*

I do love this story -- this softer, gentler view of the lads than Sebastian generally offers. It's wonderfully evocative.

Yes, this is one of my all-time favorite comfort stories. It's just so cozy, and nice, with a dash of uncertainty to spice it up. Definitely a good read this time of year!

Definitely a cosy Sebastian story and much needed for the time of year!

Ahhh - wonderful to read it again. It's sweet and soft and cosy. A very well written story. (What else, when it's Sebastian?)

Oh yes, a good one, I like Sebastian's way of writing the lads, and I like uncertain Bodie because I can see that in him very much. Thank you!

Ooh, nice choice - and it's lovely and wintry and cosy and... just the lads, all huddled up together in bed... perfect... *g* Thank you!

Well chosen. I loved the gentleness of Ray and the uncertainty of Bodie. And since its about 5 degrees (F) outside my window right now, curling up in a duvet sounds very appealing! Thanks for the rec.

Sorry to be negative but this irritated me to bits! As someone with gas central heating I knew Doyle's wouldn't be working from the start and thought either the author was stupid or Bodie was stupid and then of course it all came out as a punch line at the end, by which time I hadn't enjoyed the story because I was tut-tutting all the way!! Maybe I ought to re-read it but I haven't time...

It's never a waste of time!! I'm an aspiring original fic writer and I treat stories I dislike as part of a self-motivated writing class. analysing what I think works/doesn't work, etc. And of course nobody likes everything! Even the 'classics' (original as well as fanfic...)I'm also fascinated to see what other people like as that can be helpful for my own writing. So thanks anyway!!
