Research on a Couple of Things I Own

So I'm doing some research today on a couple of Pros items that I own.

Number one is a snapshot. It's about 3 by 5 and it has a signature on it. So I'm curious if it's "real" or done by one of those automated things. It was in a box lot of pictures so I have no clue where it came from other than I got a bunch of stuff and that was one of the things in the box. I'll post it since it's my picture:




Number two is a piece of art that I bought at the Pros con. Suzan looked at it and said it was indeed hers (it's signed!) but she can't remember anything about it. Since I don't have permission to post it, I'm going to describe it. She also said it went into a zine years ago. It's definitely slash and it's a zine I don't own:

It's an 8x10 beach scene. In the foreground the lads are nekkid, with Bodie lying under Doyle. They're kissing passionately. Then above them against the waves is a large portrait of Bodie's face, with a sweet smile on it. In the upper left corner is a ship, like a schooner or a pirate ship. There are rocks along the beach on the left and right edges in the front. It's black and white, a pencil type drawing, very detailed.

Number three is a pencil drawing. While it's my property, I don't scan or post without artist permission, so I'll see if describing it helps. I can see the lead marks/pencil scrapes on the paper so it sees to be an original. There is no signature anywhere on it. It's 8x10, black and white of course. It's a portrait of Bodie with a wonderful half smile. He's looking to the left slightly, and he's wearing a lightly defined coat with a dark poloneck. His hair is drawn so well. It's very wonderful and I love it. It was in the box with the Classified zine I bought. Don't have a clue who I bought it from at a con, so...

The beach one sounds really familiar - I know I've seen it somewhere... though I don't remember Bodie's face above them, so it might be a completely different one I'm thinking of... which all means it's probably in a zine, cos I don't have much separate art, but I don't have time to go through each one right now!

Your first pic's nice, and unfamiliar - I'm trying to decide if it's a screencap or not...

Yeah, Bodie's face takes up 2/3 of the picture so it's definitely there. It could be that different versions were used too. Hard to say since Suzan couldn't remember anything about it.

The first pic has sort of confused me. I've vidded enough to know a screencap, but for the life of me I can't find that particular one. Of course, I don't know every single frame and a snap could be of something that goes by so fast you don't even notice it.

You know, the first pic might be from that photoshoot - I think it might have been during Runner - which has quite a lot of candid pics of MS. There's one of him rolling up his sleeves, I think (that same jacket) and one of him standing by the car, smoking, and several of him crouched down beside it. I think FF's icon up above is from the same shoot... Of course he wears that jacket quite a bit, but I think I can just about see the same t-shirt and chain under it...

Maybe we could do a Photoshoot Snap to find out! *g*
