This is Five for Fighting's Superman - a megahit, but still a beauitful song & easy to make into a Pros vid.

Very nice vid. I can see how that song would work well with Pros, but I liked your selection of appropriate clips with the lyrics. Well done and thanks for sharing.

Yeah, actually doing some work these days. However, it's really cheating, Forever Young was done, just tinkered with it, and Superman's been in the owrks for over a year - I just needed to finish it up. It was hard getting the clips just right as I wanted to make sure and use mostly clips and episodes that I've never used before. Hence, you see a clip for the Most Hated Ep - Wild Justice LOL.

Well, it's a long story...

Back in 1988-89 I was living in Japan, and that's where I first saw Pros. It was on late at night on Sunday, and in English, so I watched it one night. The very first ep I saw, yeah, you guessed it, Wild Justice LOL! I really loved Bodie, but he was a total nut-job. However, I gave it another chance, and I then was hooked - watched it the whole time I lived there. Didn't even know about the fandom until years later, when I found the magic of the internet. When the DVD's came available, I bought a all-region DVD player just so I could play them :D

Anyway, looking at the whole of Prosdom, I think Wild Justice is just too OOC for me. There are some superb parts, but it leaves me a bit cold, YMMV. I really like some eps that other folks can't stand (see Blind Run - my absolute fave next to Mixed Doubles).

Ah... Blind Run and Mixed Doubles are two of my faves, but I love Wild Justice as well. And yeah, they're both acting strangely, but I reckon that gives my fevered little imagination some scope to want to explain why! Plus, Doyle covered in mud, and Bodie in black leather? *sighs* Runner gets me too actually, seems like there's something just off between them... and I wanna know why!

Ah, I really like this vid! And I definitely sleep sounder at night knowing that Bodie's not crazy. ;-)

Actually, what I think I like best about your vids is how you manage to make it absolutely clear who the vid's about, and from who's perspective the story's being told.

Unfortunately my daughter is now absolutely obsessed with the song, and is asking me to play it over and over again...

Thx! That 'not crazy' line was the first scene I "clipped", and you know it was too easy lol!

Thank you so much for the beautiful compliment that my vidding themes and perspectives are clear. I work very hard to make a "theme within a theme" in all my vids, and you are the first person ever to comment on that :D

I totally understand the obsession with the song - part of the reason I vidded it was that I just couldn't get it out of my head...

Well, I was a bit nervous to comment about the themes actually, because although I was quite sure I was reading them correctly - wouldn't it have been awful if I said, "Great vid from Bodie's POV!" and it turned out you hadn't meant it that way at all?

I remember once I complimented someone on how hilariously funny their parody fic was... and it turned out they'd written an angst filled tragedy.

Oops.

But I will be sure to comment on your future vids!
