Pros Big Bang Announcement

After much musing,scheming, and plotting, callistosh65 and I have decided to take the plunge and set up a Pros Big Bang challenge.

The challenge is aimed at getting more long stories written in Pros, and will be a collaborative effort between writers, artists, and vidders in the fandom.

For more details, you can check out our inaugural post on the ci5_boxoftricks comm. Everyone is welcome to join the community, and sign ups for the challenge start tomorrow!

This sounds exciting! (Especially the 'scheming' and the 'plotting'...) and a coincidence for me as I've just written to a writer saying how much I loved one of their stories and how good it is to see the longer stories still being written in fandom - we can't have too many of them.

BTW, you are responsible for me missing my subway stop a few days ago. I've got your Chauvelin/Bodie story loaded on my iPod, and was so absorbed in it I didn't reallize I'd ended up five stops past my stop. I can't wait to see how it all ends. (Bodie has just disappeared. Oh noes!)

I've had some mixed reactions to it here and there, so I'm very glad that you're enjoying it!

I only hope I can come up with something for the Big Bang - I seem to have been all writted out since I finished with Major Bodie and his Chauvelin, and I'm getting rather frustrated about it. Hopefully this will spark something off... or even more than one thing! *crosses fingers*

I'm very much enjoying Major Bodie and his Chauvelin. (Chauvelin has just sacrificed himself to get Bodie out of prison!) It's a lovely piece of writing. I'll send you proper feedback when I'm all done.

I'm sure you'll come up with something. And to be totally self serving, I've always wanted to see a continuation of your rent boy Doyle universe. I'd love to see how that lad ends up in CI5. And how he first encounters Bodie.
