I love it that, even when he left CI5, Bodie always is connected to Doyle. If only by using his name instead of his own. And it shows that Doyle never lost his love for Bodie and always stayed put because he knew that this way Bodie would always be able to find him.
And I love the end of the story, with them sitting in their chairs near the fire, listening to the sounds outside and being together in their own secure world. Sigh.
I hope you enjoy this story as much as I do.
