Thanks for persevering and finishing your story. The setting is unique for Prosfic, I think, and of course the ending did my little slasher's heart good. In my mind Bodin resigned his commission and he and Doylov were happily traveling together abroad when the revolution came a decade or so later!

Thank you for writing more of this, and posting it at CI5hq - and I'd love to read about them in the Revolution, should you feel so inspired... *g* It's such a wonderful culture to put them in, ever so rich, and I loved the storm, and the weather and the seasons that permeated through, very atmospheric!
