It is not really a Random Pros Read at The Circuit Archive but I found the story by random on my tablet. The last two days I read by The Eternal Return by Amber Skye. I've never heard of it before, but I think this will be one of my favorit stories.
The story is an AU, but for me it is perfect. I love the thought of Bodie and Doyle (or William and Ray) forever linked in love. In both time levels Bodie is the soldier, so his live didn't change much. Only Ray has different life stories.
Overall for me it just was not possible to put the story out of my hand till I reached the end.
And for all of us who are students or ex-students of the Texas A & M University it is available for you under The Eternal Return at Texas A & M University.

Date: 2016-08-28 12:23 am (UTC)(I'm a bit dubious about fanfic being locked to academics though - it wasn't academic to start with, so is that really a fair criteria for access - fans can't read it at TA&M unless they're academics, but any old academic is able to, whether they're a fan or not...? Hmmn...! And did the author give permission for it to be archived online there, but not archived online for fans elsewhere? More hmmn!)

I just didn't get into the flow of it.

Date: 2016-08-28 06:42 pm (UTC)It looks as if it a piece of the Sandy Hereld Collection and it seems that all authors and publishers gave their permission to put it online for the students. For me it is a shame that it is locked for all not students of the TA&M. It would be nice to have the possibility to read some of the older zines online. I can understand that they don't send them per snailmail, but I can't understand that they lock them.
