Yes! There were about 20 of them at the feeder this morning. Their bright red color against the white snow is amazing. It's very unusual for us (near St. Louis) to get a snow like this so late in March. But having grown up in the snow country of the northeast (Buffalo, NY)- I'm loving it!!

Brrrrr! But pretty too! Your backyard is lovely, and the birds are so bright! We don't get anything that showy here. The UK has had amazing amounts of snow the last couple of days too - of course, being in the soggy bottom of the country, we got loads of rain instead. /o\

That's a very nice backyard even with the snow!

Sigh! Same here. Last night we had -7°C and from the last snow on Thursday there are still remains.
Problem is that there is no more bird food in the shops.
And they say that many migrating birds are heading back south in the face of the continuing freezing weather....

Oh! Hey, I didn't realise you'd posted this to ci5hq until I came to the comm itself to look for something... oops! I should have spotted it and pointed it out and asked you to please re-post, cos it's personal rather than Pros-for-the-comm, but... too late now, you've got too many nice comments to be able to delete it - never mind!
