How about this one - it actually uses the dreaded "l" word, but I think it manages to stay completely unsoppy (unromantic) while doing so!

It's only short, but I love the atmosphere that the author's written, and the way we realise with horror exactly what's happened to Bodie - and feel Doyle's horror too.

What does anyone else think?

And because I can never rec the one without reccing the other, and because I think this comes under non-slushy (non-romantic) - here's another Bistokidsfan story that I adore! It's an older lads story, as we can tell from the outset, but despite the fact that the lads are clearly living in domestic bliss, I think it's totally, utterly them.

Anyone disagree?! Agree? Adore it? Hate it? *g*
