I'm totally assured of their togetherness, equality and passion, and they're so in tune with one another, it's emotionally satisfying.
I think the pain/aggression bit of it does disturb me in the sense that I can't understand how anyone would get a thrill out of humiliation, but despite that, I do agree with you in that by the end of their encounter they *are* equal and very much in tune with each other and that's what I love about *them* and what they have.
